The Birth of the Solar System — Future Energy Expo Opening
Eighteen flying planets, a 30-metre screen and seventeen heads of state in the audience.
The opening ceremony of EXPO 2017 had one goal: stage the genesis of the solar system — in front of seventeen presidents.
We fully automated eighteen flying orbs designed as planets. In front of a 30-metre screen they followed their trajectories with millimeter accuracy, interacting with the artists on stage and the show lighting.
The result
A sky full of planets that stunned spectators and statesmen from all over the world. All objects flew autonomously, with in-house technology on board.
